Once-a-Quarter is a collaboration of Victoria based small businesses committed to making Victoria the best it can be. Four times a year, they choose a local non-profit organization to help with strategic planning. The package, valued at $8000 – 10,000, includes meeting room (“think space”), lunch and refreshments for up to 40 people and a graphic recording of the day. Community Options staff were thrilled to hear that we were the lucky winners of this package!
Led by our facilitators, April 29 proved to be a fabulous brainstorming session with a large group of Community Options stakeholders – Board, staff, funders, parents, self-advocates and caregivers. We are exceptionally grateful to all of them for their contributions. We finished the epic day with some big dreams and possibilities for Community Options.
We now have a smaller group working with our facilitator, Sheila Beauchemin, to turn those big dreams into a workable plan of our priorities and the steps we need to take in the next 3-5 years to head us in the direction of accomplishing those dreams!
We hope you can join us at our Annual General Meeting on September 15 for the latest update on our Strategic Plan!
